They Dont Make Them Like They Used To! I have to say I’m not overly impressed with this phonograph. Starting off with the pros of this item,,,,, Very solid construction. Rather heavy for it’s size because of it’s wood cabinet. Plenty of storage space with a hidden compartment on the back to store it’s accessories. Came with an extra needle. Packaged very well and arrived with no damage. Nice docking port for MP3 player discreetly hidden behind one of the speakers. Swings out when needed. Dampened cue lever. Don’t Waste Your Money This product is a flimsy, ill-sounding piece of junk. Even at the relatively inexpensive price it’s a bad deal. Furthermore, Pyle customer service is completely uninterested in being helpful. That “buzzing” sound in the speakers that the other reviews (including the positive one) have mentioned is present in my player too. Both times, upon turning my player on, a loud buzzing sound has been the first thing I hear. Are you looking for a fairly inexpensive record player? Well, so was I, and I’ve now paid to ship this product from Amazon (15 dollars), paid to ship it to Pyle to be repaired (15 dollars), paid to ship it to Pyle to be repaired…
