Great Price, Good Cartridge, Lousy Stylus Quality I bought this cartridge because my stylus needed to be replaced and the combination stylus and cartridge were just a few dollars more so I figured what the heck even though my old cartridge still works fine. I own a 20 some year old Technics SL-BD20D turntable and originally had the AT6006 cartridge with a 0.3 x 0.7 nude bi-radial stylus. This cartridge, the AT311EP with a 0.3 x 0.7 bi-radial stylus, seemed to be of similar nature to the AT6006. I do not notice any perceptible difference in sound quality between the old and new cartridge. This cartridge and stylus seems to perform just as well as the cart that I was using and the connection fittings were perfect. Bottom line: I am very happy with this purchase.Update 04-20-12. The stylus just fell off the plastic mount. AT must use some really poor quality glue because I have only been using the stylus for about a month and have probably only played it for about 10 to 12 hours. It sounded great before it broke! So…
